01Read-only, or can it act?
The sharpest line in the market. Many servers expose reporting to your assistant and leave every change to you in Seller Central. Others prepare and apply listing, price, stock, bid and campaign changes. Check the tool list, not the homepage.
Ours: reads and writes, with approval on every write.
02Seller data, ads data, or both?
Selling Partner API and Advertising API are separate authorizations. Some servers cover only one. If you want to ask why sales fell and check ad spend in the same breath, you need both in one context.
Ours: both, in the same conversation.
03How deep is the coverage?
Catalogue and orders are table stakes. Ask about inventory and FBA, pricing and Buy Box context, account health, Sponsored Products at keyword and target level — and, if relevant, Vendor Central.
Ours: all of the above. Vendor Central is covered for purchase orders and PO summaries; payment figures are estimated from PO data, because Amazon's API does not expose real remittances or trading terms for reading.
04One account, or many?
If you run several brands, or you are an agency, check whether contexts are truly separated and how you switch between them.
Ours: multiple sellers and marketplaces, strictly isolated per request.
