Seller Assistant outside Seller Central
The Amazon Selling Partner plugin brings Seller Assistant's reasoning, recommendations and ability to take action into outside AI tools: Amazon Quick at launch and Claude in beta.
On 23 September 2026, at Amazon Accelerate, Amazon announced the Amazon Selling Partner plugin: it brings Seller Assistant into Claude, in beta and only for sellers in Amazon's US stores. If you sell on amazon.co.uk, .de, .fr, .it or .es, or live on Sponsored campaigns, you are not in it yet. Vendooly already connects ChatGPT and Claude to your European seller account and to Amazon Ads through the official APIs: the AI prepares, you approve.
A summary of the official Amazon and Anthropic announcements. No rumours: only what the pages linked below say.
The Amazon Selling Partner plugin brings Seller Assistant's reasoning, recommendations and ability to take action into outside AI tools: Amazon Quick at launch and Claude in beta.
Amazon says the plugin is available in beta for sellers in Amazon's U.S. stores, with international expansion "to follow". There is no date for Europe.
According to the connector listing on Claude: questions about sales, inventory and listing performance, recommendations grounded in your data, and review of every action before it runs.
Facts checked on 28 September 2026. We update this page when Amazon announces changes, especially the European rollout.
This is not a criticism: it is a fresh beta and Amazon will follow its own roadmap. But your Monday does not wait for the international rollout.
amazon.co.uk, .de, .fr, .it, .es and the other EU stores are not in the beta. No public date for Europe.
The plugin announcements do not cover managing Sponsored campaigns. The official Amazon Ads MCP Server exists (open beta since 2 February 2026), but it covers advertising only and needs developer or partner Amazon Ads API credentials.
Vendor Central and managing several seller accounts do not appear in the announcements. With Vendooly an agency works across clients, each in its own separate context.
We are not competing with Amazon's tools, we complement them: Vendooly combines Ads and Seller/Vendor Central in one seller-ready connection, in Europe too, without registering as a developer.
Sign up to Vendooly and authorize your seller account, and your Amazon Ads account if you want, through Amazon's official OAuth. No password in the chat, no developer registration.
Add Vendooly as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT (endpoint https://mcp.vendooly.com/mcp) and ask in plain English. The AI reads your real data, marketplace by marketplace.
Prices, stock, listings, bids, budgets and campaign state: the AI prepares the change, shows you before→after and runs it only after your explicit OK.
Paste them into Claude or ChatGPT once Vendooly is connected. Questions read the data; every fix comes back as a proposal for you to approve.
Not yet. Amazon announced it on 23 September 2026 in beta for sellers in Amazon's U.S. stores, with international expansion planned but no dates. For the UK and EU marketplaces you need an MCP connector such as Vendooly today.
The official plugin announcements do not cover managing Sponsored campaigns. Amazon has a separate Amazon Ads MCP Server, in open beta since 2 February 2026, for advertising only and requiring Amazon Ads API credentials. Vendooly combines Seller Central and Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Brands and Display) in one connection.
No, it complements it. Vendooly is an independent product by Vendooly S.r.l., not affiliated with Amazon, built on the official Selling Partner API and Advertising API. When Amazon's plugin reaches Europe you can use both.
Yes. Vendooly is a standard MCP server: the same connection works with Claude, ChatGPT and other compatible clients. You authorize Amazon once, not once per assistant.
No. Reads run freely; every write is prepared as a proposal with a before→after preview and runs only after your explicit confirmation.
